In the video, Obama explains how his Father, when returning from World War II, was treated properly. Truly, he takes ‘appeal to your audience’ to a whole new level.
Obama says his father served in WWII. We (the US) entered the war in 1941. Obama's father was born on April 4, 1936 which would make him 5 years old at that time. The war ended nine years later when his father was 14.

A 3-year-old soldier. Impressive. It was September 1st [1939] when Nazi Germany first invaded Poland. Obama’s father would have been three at the time. Facts truly are stubborn things. Perhaps what’s most interesting about the verbal ‘misstep’ is the ease and sincerity at which he pulls it off. Kinda makes you wonder what else he might be lying about…
